Poetry Tidbits, Silly and Fun

This is Shorts #2. I started writing short thoughts, some poetry, in response to the #vss365 prompts on Twitter. I love writing these every day. Each day there is a new word to incorporate into your very small window of characters allowed on Twitter. I will be sharing some of these with you from time to time. Here are a few I enjoyed writing:

Wrap me in #foam bubbles
today. Keep me safe
and cushioned from
the strife that may
come my way.
Soothing and
luxurious.
A glass of wine would
be sweet too.
Cabernet Sauvignon
in a large glass will do.

With a trembling hand,
he reaches into the
dumpster for a once
used hat and neckband.
What was #cast away
from one has become
his much-needed treasure.
Seeking warmth and
shelter he rides the
edge of life surviving…
